Title: New Aspects of Rotating Black Holes

  吕宏，天津大学理学院教授、博导。1988年本科毕业于浙江大学物理学系。1994年获得美国德州农工大学高能理论物理学博士学位。先后在法国巴黎高师、宾夕法尼亚大学、密西根大学和德州农工大学等处做博士后和访问教授。2009年在中央财经大学任教授，2012年5月调入北京师范大学物理学系，2017年10月受聘为天津大学量子交叉研究中心主任。其研究方向包括超弦、超引力、广义相对论、黑洞物理、规范/引力对偶等，共发表SCI论文300余篇，其中包括9篇PRL。论文总引用次数超过16000次，H因子=69。

Abstract:

  The talk involves two aspects: (1) I introduce a new intriguing discrete local symmetry that interchanges the time and longtitudinial coordinates in Kerr-AdS black holes in diverse dimensions. (2) I discuss the perturbative approach and its breakdown of higher-derivative corrections to the thermodynamics and the near horizon geometry of the rotating black holes.
